The godfather of Kenyan urban Gospel was to have a wedding at Nairobi’s Kenya Assemblies of God, Buruburu was not cancelled but pushed to 26th July. Rufftone A.K.A Roy Mwatia and fellow gospel artiste Susan Mwaura aka Krystal were set to wed last Sunday but canceled their wedding to the ealier mentioned date.
Here is what he said,
“Everything is intact, it’s only that we had to do some logistical changes for the ceremony which forced us to push the event forward with at least one more week. There isn’t any alarming reason for the postponement; it’s just one week. Nothing major. If it was another one year that could have been something else.”
He also explained that he was nervous about the whole affair because it was a big step in his life,
“I am nervous and excited at the same time since this is a very big step I am making in my life. The feeling of becoming a family man with multiple responsibilities on him has brought even more happiness to me. As a couple, we are all prepared for this and we are happy as we take one of the major steps towards our future,”
