Kenya is truly a beautiful country with beautiful people. But just like every rose, we have our thorns; one of them being Terrorism!By the look of things, Security is now every individual's responsibility, and not only for the police as we've always wrongfully thought.
It is on this note that #FatumasVoice presents #Terrorism101 : A discussion on how to prevent disasters and steps to take when it occurs.
Most of the time after a blast, we mourn for a few days, fearfully awaiting another unexpected strike. Seldom do we ask ourselves what happens to the direct and indirect victims who lose their loved ones...
- Do they #AcceptAndStartFromScratch? or does anyone assist them to get back on their feet?
- Should we learn how to manage disaster or how to prevent it?
- Have we accepted the reality that our dear country has actually become a terrorist target?
- Are we in denial over the fact that our security is still wanting?
- Is there a solution or a strategy to combat this deadly disaster?
- What steps can the wananchi take to prevent attacks since 'tuombe serikali' is no longer an option?
- How should we react when an attack is launched?
