Laughter the medicine for the heart, laughter and joy gives you a chance to live longer. The Churchill Show gives you the dose you need to make your life brighter and more merrier and hence living longer. He makes your day in the mornings on your way to work courtesy of Classic Fm all the public transport vehicles are normally locked in to the show.

Serious business people will tell you they are in business to solve the problems in our society and I think Churchill is in comedy for the same same reasons, you might think differently but he is doing great not to mention the many young comedians he has brought to light.

Last Thursday on The Churchill Live show he made a little boy’s wishes come true. Juma the incredible boy who debuted two weeks ago on the popular Toto’s corner segment stole the heart of many with his confidence and everyone wanted him to be invited to the show.

The kid from Valley Bridge Primary school was brought on the show as promised by Churchill and true enough, he is no ordinary kid. Accompanied by his mum, he appeared looking all innocent but as soon as he got comfortable, he was making the crowd laugh with his slang and the smart way he answered questions poised by Churchill.

When asked to talk about his mum, the kid broke down and for a minute both the mum and the son were crying making the audience teary eyed too. Juma’ s mother is a single mum who has been facing a lot of hardships raising 4 kids until yesterday when Churchill offered them a Nakumatt shopping voucher, a voucher from Outfitters, a cheque of 50,000 from the Churchill foundation and an offer to get sponsors pay the rest of his school fees.

The smiles on the young Juma and his mum’s faces was priceless and it was an emotional moment for them and for the fans who watched a star being born. For a minute, Churchill wasn't just about comedy but about touching a small kid’s heart and changing lives and that is the spirit we want to see in other Kenyan celebrities.
