Daily nation came under fire from poets all over Kenya and the blogging community, this was after the paper posted an Advert in one of its magazines encouraging people to send poems at a fee and the winner could win, see the story Here.
After the social media outcry by the poets, the Nation newspaper in today's print has made it free for people to submit their poems and actually they could win in the end. Showing their appreciation Kenyan Poets Lounge the leading poets movement has encouraged its members to actually participate in the competition. Call it the power of Social Media.
